Guide to AI-Powered Content

As part of the post, email, and text message editors in CampusESP, you can use a generative AI editor to create content from scratch or edit existing content. This AI editor is configured for your institution directly and will create content that references your institution.

To get started in posts, emails, or text messages, select which AI feature you would like to use. 

Create New Content from Scratch

To create content from scratch, click “Write with AI.”

Next, you’ll be able to type in your prompt. When writing a prompt, it can be helpful to include information about length of the content you’d like, any dates or details you’d like referenced, and any University name you’d like included. You can also give the AI editor a specific link to reference if you’d like it to pull content from a published webpage.

When you’re all set with your prompt, click “Send” to have the content created. If the content doesn’t fit what you wanted, you can specify any edits in the prompt box again and have a new message created. When you’re satisfied with the content, click “Insert” to add it to your post/email/text message draft.

Once you insert the content, you can edit it or continue the process of creating and sending your message, as normal.

Editing Existing Content

You can also use the AI editor to edit existing content. Let’s take a look at this very long article:

Highlight the text you’d like to edit and select any of the editing options. In this case, let’s make it shorter. The AI editor will edit your content. Then, you can either continue editing or create your post/email/text message.

Turn a Post or Email into a Text Message

As you’re creating a post or email, you may see this button to turn content into a text message. Click this button to shorten any content into a much shorter version to power through text.

Remember, Black and African-American, Hispanic, and Lower-Income families prefer receiving communication through text. Using CampusESP’s text message module helps you communicate more effectively with these families.

Personalize Global Content for your Specific Institution

When approving Global Content, customers can now personalize posts with information relevant to their institution. Just click "Personalize with AI," review the updated content, and confirm!
